🔩 Training Highlights

• Hands-on welding instruction led by an AWS-certified welder, inspector, and educator
• Covers safety, theory, and real-world applications
• Choose one process to focus on:

- SMAW – Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick)
- GMAW – Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG)
- GTAW – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG)
- FCAW – Flux Core Arc Welding

• Class size limited to 8 participants for personalized instruction
• Certificate of Completion from M State
• Great for individuals seeking new skills or career advancement

💲 Cost & Materials
Tuition: $1,500 per participant
Additional costs may apply depending on material and certification needs.

Material Options:
- Stainless steel: $300 additional fee
- Aluminum: $200 additional fee

Optional Basic AWS D1.1-2025 Qualification Test (Certification):
- $250 per test and certification

🧥 Clothing & PPE Requirements
Students must provide their own PPE and wear appropriate clothing:

Clothing:
- At least 80% cotton (no synthetic fabrics)
- Recommended: Denim jeans, long-sleeve cotton shirts
- Best: FR (fire-resistant) clothing
- Footwear: Leather high-ankle boots with toe protection (recommended)

PPE:
- Safety glasses with side shields
- Welding helmet (shade 9–12) – auto-darkening recommended
- Extra inside/outside lens cover plates
- Welder’s cap or beanie
- Leather gauntlet gloves (light, medium, or heavy based on process)
- Welding coat or sleeves/apron (FR cloth for low amp, leather for high amp)
